Conflict minerals procurement policy requirements Supplier of materials

Addtime:2023/03/22

Some metal minerals have become the main source of financial resources for the armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, which are used to trade arms, perpetuate the bloody conflicts between them and the government, and ravage local people, thus causing international controversy. As a world citizen, our company declares and promises not to accept the use of metals from conflict areas. At the same time, it also requires the suppliers of Zhejiang Best Nail Industry Co., Ltd. to have the following requirements:

1. Must fulfill social and environmental responsibilities;

2. Ensure that the products are not applicable to conflict minerals from Congo and its surrounding countries and regions;

3. Trace the source of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) contained in all products;

4. Communicate this requirement to your upstream suppliers.

Conflict metals: refer to minerals from conflict mining areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including niobium-tantalite, casserite, wolscheelite and gold, etc., which are refined into tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), "tri-T minerals" and gold (Au), respectively, for use in electronics and other products.
